ORNAMENT AND THE FEMININE

A visual and written re-interpretation of this essay as an ally to cultural maximalism– helping us to view it as spiritual, meaningful, and transcendent rather than simply a visual code. From personal belongings and anecdotes to larger cultural symbols, this re-interpretation of “Ornament And Femininity” illustrates how ornament is part of everyday lives and the basis of various tangible cultures outside the Western canon and sphere.
